One of the main contributors is fast fashion and the production of big Hollywood movies. For instance, when the amazing Steel Magnolias was created and Dolly Parton and Julia Roberts blessed us with their amazing actings skills the world was taken aback. All of this emotion was imbibed by their eager hearts and they thought to themselves, "Why don't I go get my hair done like that character!" or "Why don't I go buy Annelle's cool glasses!" In turn, you wear these things for about 2 months and then the movie is no longer cool, leaving them on your closet floor to forever be stepped on.
